Cali-Plug/50-Amp power distro

Does anyone make a compact-ish Power Distro that uses the CS6575 power inlet?

I don't need a rack mount system.

Do you mean CS6365? Just making sure, since Googles doesn't show a CS6575 anywhere...

There's the models by dimmerrack.com; they have the brick that might be what you want. It's similar to things by Lex, ML, etc, but cheaper. Not certain if it's UL listed or not, though. I've got one of their distros and it's very good build quality.

CS6375 is the Distro Intlet that accepts the CS6364 connector.

Generator has the CS6369 power outlet that connects with a CS6365 plug.

The distro I got from the Amp Shop isn't UL listed, but that was because I asked for PowerCon instead of NEMA.  And they told me at the time that UL wouldn't list with PowerCon since those were used for multiple voltages.  Unlike the NEMA standards that separate everything.

In any case, I've never had an inspector at an event quibble over it.

Ampshop makes custom stuff for affordable prices. Dimmerrack also makes custom stuff for affordable prices. We own equipment from both manufacturers. The Dimmerrack is nicer build quality.

FWIW, one of my Ampshop rackpacks, 2 x 30a and 4 20a outlets with a 50a inlet, came with the breaker wired to the wrong outlets, so the 30a outlets were on 20a breakers, and two of the 20a outlets were on 30a breakers. It's good to check these things, but one might be inclined to simply 'trust' something straight from the manufacturer...

I have a Motion Labs distro with a 50 amp Cali inlet/outlet.  It is ETL listed if I recall correctly.  And rack mountable, but I know you don't need that.  Anyway, it works great and is very convenient.

I also have a "spider box", a temp work box with a cali input and six outputs... not rack mountable, UL listed, and pretty inexpensive.

I have another amp rack with a rack pac (also Motion) that has two powercon inputs for two circuits.  This powers 3 QSC PLD amps, which in practical terms never comes close to drawing all that power, and they do 12 channels of output.

Good stuff!
Cheers,
Nils

Motion Labs makes a 50A stringer box too. http://www.motionlabs.com/c-26-large-frame-stringers.aspx

I've used the 30A 3 phase versions of these, and they're super solid.
