Also 8 VCA, 8 mute groups, built in Madi for Stagebox and USB to record. Has 40 DSP input channels, 4 band Fully Parametric EQ, 4 Lexicon effects, 24 input faders, BSS EQ on every bus, 20 sub-group / bus.

I too am interested in The Price, Yamaha also has come out with 3 new digital desk to compete with the X32

So, if I am reading the specs correctly,  it max's out at 40 channels to mix? (Unlike the Expression and Performer)

I don't think it is replacing the current line, it looks like a new board to compete directly with the X32 and that would make sense why they launched it at a Guitar Center. Price is $2799 from what I have seen on there Facebook page.

Seems everyone around grabbed an X32 when they got the first bugs out of it (if any).  So much so, they seem to be a religion these days.  I've had a number of guys try to compare my Performer 3 to an x32 and I had to explain to them I paid more money on purpose.  I've been so pleased I bought  P1 a few months ago.  Now they're releasing a newer model for about what I paid for a P1.
