Any options for using MIDI to trigger tally lights.
« on: April 07, 2015, 08:24:33 PM »

Guys do you know of any way to use the MIDI output of a Roland V-4ex to trigger a tally light or relay.  I am only needing a trigger for input 1 and input 2.  I could even make a
flip flop circuit if i could get a single trigger.

Thanks!

There are a few units out that are triggered by midi to control modular synths. They would probably output a variable 0 to 5 volts DC and a gate. Probably not cheap though.

That would be a MIDI to CV/Gate like what PAIA makes.  JLCooper used to make them also.
