I ordered an ADJ Scene Setter 24 which should be fine for running the par cans but I need something for the intelligent lights. I am considering the ADJ DMX Operator.
Am I missing anything? Any help is appreciated - thanks!

One inexpensive and workable solution would be to look at the DMX Operator Pro. The Pro version has a dedicated 8 fader bank for par cans (your front lights), then the bank on the left is switchable for your intelligents and others. As others have said, make sure you understand how it works in order to be prepared for its shortcomings, but it works for us for the small lighting systems we use, which are similar to what you have planned.
