I wouldn't mess with either one of those cabinets. They are both pretty bad IMO.

What is the intended use? Because that will ultimately determine what is best.....

Constant curvature does not an array make. When buying these boxes the only concern is how loud they truly get and being able to mount them in more than 1 way ( pole or truss hung ). They do exhibit better directional control for the high end, but that does not mean much as most of the constant curvature arrays require at least two boxes to function at typical dispersion's anyway. 1 box alone acts just like any regular box and the high end content coverage is reduced in the vertical plane. Since most all CC arrays cannot have more than 2 boxes on a pole mount, they are pretty much a typical box laid on it's side. So you spend more to get the same. Some have greater horizontal coverage, but that is not always a good thing.

1 good single speaker will outperform a couple wanna-be line array speakers, in our experience.  1 RCF TT5A for experience ended the allure of KLA/VRX/etc.

I will say this though. I did two days this weekend with the JBL VRX rig and I was again reminded why they are still made. They get very loud sound ok doing it and have WIDE coverage in the horizontal plane. My rig consisted of two VRX per side on a pole with 4 of the matching single 18" powered subs in a center cluster under the stage. The people who hired me were very impressed and said to me and I quote " SUPER PERFECT JOB ". It still is only a sideways mounted speaker though......

I bought four qsc kla12 and sold them within 3 weeks. It sound very good with pre-recorded songs. When come to band performance, qsc kla12 does not have the spl and keep hitting the limiter rather quick. Qsc kla12 high frequency driver can't keep up with the low mid, it sounds muffled for vocal. I've moved on to rcf hdl20a, it have the spl and clarity for my taste.
