Most Durable RG6 Cable
« on: February 10, 2015, 04:17:31 PM »

What recommendations does everyone have for durable RG6 cable for rental/staging applications?  We've tried a few manufacturers and have had a mixed bag of results.  Looking for more good options.

Thanks!

There are a lot of coax cables that meet the RG6 definition:
75 Ohm Radio Frequency Characteristic Impedance
about 7mm Nominal O.D.
But don't carry the ancient RG6 label.

I probably should have clarified... my bad.

What I'm curious about isn't so much the raw cable itself, but the build of the cable with connectors.  For example, cables from Extron vs Kramer vs Lex vs CBI vs etc etc etc.

We've bought cables from some places that have lasted a long longer than others, so curious what others have found for a well-built cable.
