Coax cable that coils nicely
« on: January 25, 2015, 10:07:10 PM »

I need to run 100' of coax to a digital cable TV box and all I have is a stiff pita line. I've never seen anything different in  coax. Does someone make coax cable that you can coil up and that runs flat? More like a mic cable?

Note that it's a stranded not solid center conductor and will require specific ends and possibly tooling to terminate it.  Scroll down the page for recommendations.  No experience with Clark directly, but it seems to me I got something like it from Markertek a few years back.

Thanks for that. Didn't realize that it would be available with stranded wire. Now to find a local supplier.

I use the stuff that Monoprice sells for my wireless paddles. Coils easy, and mostly lays flat. I'm using a 25' and a 50' run with no issues every night.

Which specific ones are you using? I need exactly what you have :-)
