specs for TrippLite SMART1000RM1U UPS
« on: December 11, 2014, 11:58:38 am »

Anyone know where I can find part specifications for a TrippLite SMART1000RM1U UPS?  A couple of the small screws holding the outer metal shell to the frame have fallen out, and this is the response I got from TrippLite technical support: "I sent a request to my engineering liaison and was told we don't have them, or the specs."

Seems like a trip to the hardware store with your unit would sort you out.  They look like fairly standard flat head screws.  What thread type they are should be able to be determined pretty quickly in the screw aisle.

Just a WAG, but if the unit was built anywhere other than the USA, I would first try the M3 size. Mark C.

I have a couple of candidates here that might work. Please email me your address and I'll send you a few of each.

Thanks guys.  I measured pretty carefully and it looks like M3 4mm.  Nothing in the local stores, so I ordered a small quantity.  If they fit, I'll ship the excess to TrippLite COD.
