I would rather run playback from a phone than have to stream the damn video from YouToobe. (Which I have had to do several times).  ???

Unfortunately that individual needs a couple disasters under their belt. That is when the internalized learning takes place.

Similarly: iTunes is not Qlab, SFX, or even MultiPlay. These people are underprepared for the realities of live presentation.

I hope they never have to lead people into combat...

I have two Radial AV1 and the Art DI previously mentioned. On the other hand, I usually plug my portable cd player into Aux Return 3 on my Mackie 1604VLZ Pro. This allows me to feed both mains and subs for line testing purposes. I use a custom Horizon 1/8th stereo to mono 1/4in for this.
