Having climbed a few radio and cell towers, I can say it does wired things to you. I don't know if it's in our heads or not but a lot of us say you can actually feel the energy and hear it (odd ringing in ears) during a climb. more so on cell towers than radio. But you are definitely suppose to wear geiger counter's during the climb but I'm sure plenty don't.
RF definitely can cook your brain (and other parts of your anatomy), but you wouldn't want to use a Geiger counter to detect it, examples of what Geiger counters do not detect: Microwave radiation, radio frequency (RF) electro-magnetic field (EMF) radiation, Neutron radiation.
