Very nice rig, I planned something like that, compact and powerful.  I wish you could report on you average SPL levels and the sound quality at those levels

thanks

FOH is 60 foot out dead center in the room. At that location I average 100-105 weighted "A". At these levels its clean and precise with no real sense that I couldn't go a lot hotter. In fact in the system shake out I ran it up to 120 db at FOH and it seem to be fine but LOUD!

Quick questions..

1. Can you comment on the STX's performance vs. the SRX?
2. Why the 5th 835?  I'm assuming it's a center fill...just curious :D

Yes the 5th one is a center down fill. I find it adds good presence in the "dead" spot between hangs since the main hangs are close to a 40 foot span.

I guess the only box out of the srx series that was a 3 way box was the 738 are there is no comparison there. The best box in the srx series was the 722 hands down.

Hangs? How are you hanging your 835's ?

The system is installed at 37 Main (johns creek) in Georgia. The flyware and plates had to be hand fab'd b because at the time of install no one make hardware for flying the 835.

Unless the MHF assembly was rotated, that is a very odd deployment.

True, the 722's were very musical.  They very also lightweight and very loud.  I really miss those boxes.
