Telephone interface
« on: August 14, 2014, 02:52:57 PM »

So I'm not sure what words I should be searching for, as I know i've ran into a few in the past but forget the brand/model.

I'm looking for an interface where I can connect an analog telephone line, and get an XLR audio output, and then an XLR audio input.

Recommendations on models? Looking to hook it up to a DIS DDS-5900 system.

Telos Model One has served me reliably for years.  Works with analog phone lines.

Awesome. The Telos one was the unit I've used before. But the JK Audio looks nice also.

Thank you for the search terms! Would have never guessed Hybrid.

I use one of these from JK and they work great and are cost effective.

Adam,

You're looking for a "hybrid" unit.

I use units from Telos and JK Audio and they work fine; the Telos One units are nice because they have nice metering, etc.

We like this one

It works with PBX, analog, and has jacks to interface with Cell phones.
