Hi everyone,

Does anybody have any opinions on the DB Technologies SUB 808D?

What else would you suggest at the same price point?

Thank you.

Stephen,

A 2.5" voice coil 18" powered by 500 watts is not a very serious sub.
The band pass cabinet makes it louder in a narrow frequency range than a ported cabinet.
Without knowing where you are located it is impossible to know what is available to you and what the pricing would be.

Hi Art,

I am from South Africa.

We get the usual jbl here but at very significant pricing compared to overseas.

JBL has powered subs with similar or better specs, you may want to do an A/B test to see if they are worth a price difference.
