Turbosound iQ speakers
« on: June 03, 2014, 01:31:14 pm »

I'm looking for more information on the Turbosound iQ series speakers.  I can't seem to find an owners manual on Turbo's site.

Has anyone used the Turbosound iQ speaker line yet?  What functions does the DSP have?  Is it speaker EQ or can you EQ the input channels (when using a mic)?

I am looking at the iQ8 and/or iQ10 for ceremony and/or cocktail work.  I won't be putting a full band through these speakers.

I'm also interested in these, but I don't think they're out yet.  Something I read last week said availability won't be until Q3.

Like you, I'm also interested in the DSP options.  The pricing does look very competitive though.

Dear Guys,

The DSP in the TURBOSOUND iQ Series features speaker modeling (where you can emulate other loudspeakers), EQ (curves for, music, speech, user settings, etc), crossover, and PEQ (feedback attenuation), delay, limiter, and more.  Hope this helps!

Hey Chase, Any ETA on Manual?

Speaker Modeling/emulating:  What's the purpose of this?  Can this be turned off or set to "factory iQ" speakers tone?

EQ Curves: Is this Output Processing of the overall speaker?  Or is this something I can set on each channel?

Limiter: Isn't there limiters already set on each band pass?
