I'm listening on the internal speakers on my computer. With that said, there are alot of tracks layered combined with some pitch shift (most likely an Eventide), and some reverb. There is most likely some delay as well. However, that detail is hard to confirm in my current listening environment.

Yeah, the singer in the band I'm just starting with has something similar. Don't know what brand or model.  I'm more interested in learning about the individual effects and how they interact with each other.  This is more a curiosity thing than something I actually want to implement.

Had a gig last night.  Our singer is using the TC Helicon Harmony Singer.  But whatever he's doing with it is very subtle.  Not problematic in any way for me at foh.

As a singer, I've been using the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play for 6 months. My observations are that it is useful for the adaptive EQ/Compressor/De-Esser, single-voice harmony for B/V's and a bit of doubling to thicken in the choruses. I find that other effects such as reverb, delay and chorus/flange are better left to FoH and so I leave these switched off. The unit has stereo line out, but there's no way to send dry on one and wet on the other. Instead, I split the mic signal first, then turn on the unit "vocal cancel" setting to only send the wet signal, which gives a wet & dry to FoH.

  Haven't used it live yet, but just in practice it sounds good. We're only using the doubling and only one harmony voice, and that very sparingly. I think these boxes sound better if the generated harmonies are very understated. I've heard people (usually singles) overusing these and it sounds horrible.

Similar situation in my current cover band..  lead vox has the Digitech Live-5 unit (http://digitech.com/en-US/products/live-5) and really knows how to use it. By that, he's great at judicious use in the right places where the other 2 of us don't have the harmonies down on. We don't use any onboard effects, just level set outputs and feed his acoustic guitar into it. Works great... !!
