Hi all,

My recently bought Sennheiser ew100 G3 transmitter won't turn on. Checked with new batteries, no result. Can't find any similar troubleshooting posts on the internet neither.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Send it to Sennheiser if you are past the retailer's exchange period.

I doubt that you've done this, but did you make sure you're getting the batteries installed properly?  Backwards with either or both and it's a no-go.  I have also had batteries which needed a quick brush-up with a file to break some film on the contacts before they'd pass current.

Just a couple of (rare) points of failure.

hi thanks for the replies. it seemed to be an internal crash in the electronics after all, this with equipment of 2 months old, sh-t happens. 2 days of recording lost while a friendly authorized technician had it repaired, guaranteed of course.
