Wall Mounted DMX Controller
« on: February 08, 2014, 06:16:42 pm »

Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation based on past experience for a simple wall mounted DMX interface?

Would like to program a few basic scenes to static buttons (touchscreen possibly?) and have all other features locked out, with the option of bypassing the wall unit with another controller for complex shows.

This would be for a church install.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I've not use it personally but the Doug Fleenor Design's Preset 10 sounds like it would work well:

I have used the DFD Preset 10 on several installations and it has always worked well. It is automatically locked out when the main console sends DMX.

The Doug Fleenor unit is very simple, and it sounds like it will do what you need.  Also consider the Lumidesk LD Touch series, it's a much more attractive unit, and there are optional iOS interfaces as well if you're interested in remote operation.
