Labsubs for DJ use
« on: January 28, 2014, 02:56:13 PM »

A rather vague question and please pardon my "lack of detail" but I think it can be answered. How do you feel about using Labs primarily for DJ use? I have been searching all morning and have found a few instances where DJ use is mentioned but no one that spoke of them primarily for that use playing a mix of Dance, Rap, reggae etc.

I am thinking 4 labs under 2 Meyer MSL4 tops would make for a nice system for outdoor events. I have no requirements at this time in regards to spl at a particular distance but would like some feedback on this setup? Could I easily cover say 200-300 people outdoors? How would this compare to my current setup of 2 x double 18 (Gsub) with JBL powered tops.

any advice appreciated,

Pierre

If the coverage pattern fits, that system should be a noticeable upgrade.

Best regards,
