Brian,

Thanks for the welcome. I ride a 2007 FLHT (Electra Glide Standard)

Mike

2012 Dyna Street Bob, flat black.  In the background is my 20 year old LandCruiser, with the seats taken out, which I use to haul gear.  Gotta get your priorities right!

Normally I wouldn't post bike porn here, but with the current snowblower thread I figure it's OK.

That doesn’t look like the Middle East to me. Or does that mean the middle of the east coast of the USA.

I have been thinking of getting a Harley they feel right driving at or near the speed limit, I need to slow down. I like that style, I took out a friends used police bike and I really didn’t like the floor boards, if that is what they are called.

It's the 'real' Middle East. I live in a large compound with sprinklers and grass, about a 15 minute drive from end to end. Most of the compound, and everything outside, is desert.  I ride everyday.  Been doing it for 12 years (this is my 4th bike) and it still puts a huge smile on my face every morning as I head off to work.  The only downside is I live/work with people from ~40 different countries with very different driving habits.  Very few have any common sense or experience driving.  The roads are unpredictable, you just have to drive with the knowledge that any vehicle can move in any direction at any time, e.g. its common to see someone make a left turn from the right lane of a 10 lane road, stop signs and lights are just considered suggestions,...  The bike stays mostly in the compound where driving is a bit more sane.
