Here's a quiz of famous electrocutions, both accidentals and executions. I got a surprisingly large number correct, but I've been a student of accidental electrocutions for years.

BTW: One of my pet peeves is when a musician says they were "electrocuted" at a gig, when they're obviously still alive. The press confuses the words "shock" and "electrocution" all the time as well.

I only got about half of them correct.  Not surprising as the questions were mainly US based and I'm not.

I thought it was interesting the way a person was electrocuted then a physician tries to re-start the heart to see if a larger shock is required.

I got 17 out of 20, but I've discussed some of these electrocutions as examples in my No~Shock~Zone seminars, so that's not really fair. Guess I should have gotten 20/20, but there were some pretty obscure references in the quiz.

I got 5 of first five right before I lost interest... More of an obscure history trivia, with questions names of first criminals smoked...I guessed right on the first man, but bailed when it looked like I would be guessing more.

I also got kicked out of the quiz for a flash video ad that interrupted me then didn't even play (fail)...

12 right for me...and I have been on the receiving end of some nasty stuff...could not imagine being electrocuted by accident , but have no issue with it being used as a form of retribution either...

I once borrowed an extension cord from my neighbor htat had ground and hot leads swapped, to use in my wet yard.  That was fun until i figured out what was going in, then I had to decide whether he was trying to kill me, or someone was trying to kill him. My judgement is the latter since he isn't all that clever, or devious, or angry with me.

I have a friend who is an electrician.  A few years ago he was working on a house which was being refurbished on a very wet day.

The plasterer was wondering why there was a buzzing sound and why he was getting a strange feeling in his hand when plastering an outside wall.

My friend was called in and quickly worked out that the power company had managed to get the live and ground connections swapped on the feed to the house which they had recently installed.
