The USB flash drive was pulled inadvertently from the LS9-32 USB port while the indicator was on ACCESS and now nothing can be recorded.  Everything was working fine prior to this.  I have tried formatting this USB flash drive as well as using another formatted USB flash drive and recording still does not work.  When I insert the USB flash drive into the slot, the indicator flashes ACCESS for a moment and the light on the flash drive flashes for a second or two then stops which is normal.  Then when I start recording the indicator displays REC but the elapsed time never starts to increase and nothing is being recorded to the USB flash drive.

I need to know how to fix this problem as the manual does not give any suggestions for troubleshooting.  I have not tried powering off the LS9-32 yet but there has got to be a way to get this issues "reset" somehow.

Any ideas?

Re-boot.  If that doesn't work, do a hard re-set.

A reboot of the mixer fixed the problem.  I am able to record again.  Thanks for the help!

I'm glad you got it worked out. If it happens again check the "pause" button on the recorder. Had a similar incident, apparently if you pull out the thumb drive the recorder goes into pause and will stay that way until you "unpause" .
