You haven't given us any information about the rest of your system, your abilities, status of your business and your business goals.     Depending on the answers to those questions, it could be that you need a Midas Pro 6 or "keep the Mackie CFX you have now".

I would agree, and for this reason:

Purchasing a business asset or tool at an arbitrarily assigned budget limit is wrong.  Evaluate your needs, examine and compare the products which fulfill those needs and cost it out over the projected service life of the item.  Here comes the old adage:

The wrong piece of gear at the right price is still the wrong piece of gear.
