buying used gear online

 Any one buy used gear online from gear source,solaris network, sound broker etc?If so
- how was the experience
-did you get ripped off
-how is shipping set up etc
-buying gear from over seas

I have bought from soundbroker.
- it was fine
- no rip off
- buyer pays shipping
- no experience with overseas

I have more confidence if I can pay with PayPal. I have had several incidents where things didn't go right and PayPal made good. It's free for the buyer.

I've sold with gear source.  I just packaged and then used gear sources fed-ex account to send.  My only warning if you're selling with them is to get paid up front before you ship, otherwise it's a royal PITA to get paid.
