DB Technologies DVA-T4?

Anyone out there have experience with the DB Technologies DVA-T4 little line array box?  My curiousity is peerking up........

Hi Ryan,

I have some of the T4s – for what they are, they’re great.

They go reasonably loud, sound good and weigh almost nothing. I bought them instead of something like the JBLs VRX.  In comparison, they are far more flexible and useful.  You can use just 3 a side on a stick or do a real line array with 8 or more boxes.

FWIW they go a little bit nasty when the limiters activate. I find the HF a bit “crunchy” but (from memory) a notch around 9K4 fixes it. I also find the settings for large arrays a bit aggressive and often use settings one array size down.

For your local band, low budget corporate stuff etc. I think they are hard to beat.
