She apparently also cancelled her June 29th performance at Wolf Trap at the last minute and with no reason given.

Well, there's 2 crews that had a better day.

Ouch.  That's gonna leave a mark, Mac.  ;)

My idea of a cancellation making for a better day is Diva Warwick.

I think she'd better be given a chromosome test, to cancel out at the last minute on two of the best and most popular Summer venues in the U.S. sure takes a pair of massive cojones.

Ravinia didn't even try to find a replacement, they've got a Saturday night off.  Ouch.

Remembering, less than fondly, my experience with Lauryn Hill I think I can speak for my entire crew when I say we WISH she had cancelled.

Funny...great marketing idea ..."The Biotches of soul tour....  Baker, Hill, Warwick...they may, or may not perform... it's anyone's guess"

The curtain goes up and..... cardboard cutouts that burst into flames. The crowd cheers then leaves, the crew goes home, everyone is happy.

And during soundchecks, we can all take turns throwing out plenty of screaming feedback at them...

Shaft at FOH, Paul Kersey on monitors.  Harry Callahan is tour manager.

Go ahead, bake my cake. ;)

In the WGN article "In a statement, Ravinia states that ticket-holders don’t need to take action. Refunds will be automatically applied to original payment method."
Will that refund include all the surcharges, taxes and fees put on by the ticketing companies?
