Hello all I was curious to find out if there are any RF spectrum analyzers out on the market that utilize the processing power of the iPad yet, I can't seem to find any easily

Outside of the 2.4GHz ISM band there are none, and most likely never will be without the help of external hardware. The iPad doen't have a lowband UHF chipset. I heard a while back that the company Oscium was asking around to see if there would be interest in a VHF/UHF scanner app/dongle, but nothing has been released yet.

Have you looked at the RF Explorer at all? http://rfexplorer.com/ -- $160 gets you something that does every major band of wireless, and a neat computer application. $220 gets you into 2.4 and some of the upper amateur radio bands.

+1 for RF Explorer.

It's not a laboratory grade instrument, but it cannot be beat for its usefulness at its price point.  Add a Sennheiser A1031U omnidirectional dipole antenna mounted high on a mic stand, a 10'-25' long RG-8X BNC-BNC cable, a BNC to SMA adapter, and you can do some very reliable RF coordination work with it.

When connected to a PC, you can save its scan files as .CSV and import them into WWB6.
