I wish if i can use two 1" compression drivers with selenium 14 - 25 horn fitting them side by side horizontally.

I will wire the tweeters in series so that i can get 16 ohms impedance.
The reason of doing this is to improve reliability of system.

Is this possible?

if reliability is the concern buy a Radian 475PB driver. i cant garuntee you wont blow it up but its a top of the line driver. there are Y adapters made to put 2 drivers on one horn.

Depends on what you call "reliability".

Putting them in series-if one fails, then the other will stop working.

Parallel would be a better way for  reliability.

Placing the 2 HF side by side will result in cancellations. notches in the response etc.

This will often lean to you turnt hem up (pushing htem harder), which puts more strain on them.

You would do MUCH better by using a SINGLE better quality driver-sound quality-sound output-reliability etc.

With audio-the FEWER drivers used-the better.

I agree with Ivan and Paul too.  I would also recommend a larger horn-overkill is not a bad thing.

I'd rather go with a B&C or BMS driver too-the Radian is a great sounding driver, but my experience says the B&C and BMS are more reliable.

This appears to be a 45x45 degree horn.  If you are trying to get more horizontal coverage by doing
the side by side horn thing then why not go with what the guys suggest and get ONE quality compression
driver and mount it on a horn with more horizontal dispersion?
I am only making an assumption of coverage because of your choice to place two horns next to each other horizontally.
If you insist on using two horns, and compression drivers then place them vertically next to each other.

However, IF you already own the Selenium drivers and want better reliability, put a quick change hatch on the back of your speakers to exchange 'em quicker!

What they have done to overcome the problem as mentioned above.
