I own some ZXa1's and they're a fantastic box for the size. Currently I use them as stage lip fills

At the moment I'm shopping for a 50 seat venue that I have to fly everything to, but when they're at home, that's the sort of thing I'd use them for as well.

I have both rigging kits for them, one that uses a clamp for truss and the other for cables. Simple and easy to use. The rotatable horns come in handy too.

Ithink he means fly as on the airplane, but use as floor monitor once he lands.

Nothing beats its power to size ratio. I think two of these can fit in a carry-on for the ultimate free transport.

Sonically, I feel ZXA1 sounds better than DLM8, both as stock. Just my preference. Equally as loud.

I bought a pair of ZXa1. Thursday they get on a train in Springfield MA and ride to Chicago, where they get on another train to New Orleans and back. That train is my venue. Then Monday they fly back home as baggage on Southwest. I'll let you know how they do.
