Doug are there going to be any state side (south east) SysTune trainings in 2013, or maybe some more video classes?
Ben - Minneapolis in September. I think the way it will work is two different.
The first is one day, taught by me. Covers the basics: how the analyzer works, interference (comb filtering) issues with lots of listening demonstrations, how to operate the analyzer, EQ strategies, multi-channel, and alignment using Delay Analysis. That's a long day, but its enough to get students doing useful work in a single day.
No digging into impulse response or phase, at all.
The exception would be using the phase display to verify polarity.
The idea is to give field personnel enough to do useful work in a one day class and nothing more.
THEN, if one wishes, Bruce Olson will do two days (I think), and dig into IR and phase as well as the acoustical and logging portions of SysTune.
