Chauvet master slave

Does anyone know if you can run a 4play master to a colorstrip as a slave ?I am hoping to have them on the same color at the same time without a DMX controller

wont work as they are 2 different fixtures, and generally will behave quite differently. however in thinking about it if you have the same DMX profile, there is a glimmer of hope that it may work on the provision that the DMX Channel Profile are identical.
