Yamaha M7CL Question.
« on: May 17, 2013, 12:10:26 PM »

I'm in the middle of working a show, and I need a quick answer.  I'm not using the mono fader and I would like to assign it to control mix 16.  I seem to remember that it is doable.  Some one please tell me how.

Thanks,
Tom

I think the only way to do this is to assign mix 16 to the mono bus, and use the mono assigned output for mix 16.

REALLY!  Well that's disappointing.  Thanks

You can't move faders on an M7CL, that's part of the philosophy.  You can use a master fader for cue wedge, and that took a couple years to get.

If you're not using the mono bus, what's wrong with assigning mix 16 (or any other) to the mono output to get master control of 1 mix without having to use the CL fader bay? How is direct control any different?
