Looking for recommendations for a 2U UPS to cover a Midas 251 Stage Box and Pro1 Surface. I have a feeling I should be looking for something that can provide 7.5a at a minimum, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think you will find one in 2u with that power need.

We use APC Smart-UPS 1500, about $400 refurbed with brand new batteries from RefurbUPS.

If the website doesn't show any available, it is worth a call.  They often still have a few.

Midas PRO 2 or PRO 2c and the DL251.  Runs great.  Saved our ass a few times on the road.
