Yes.

There are FA28AC and FA15AC. I think there will be a couple more powered options very soon as well.

According to this...

...they only offer one active box; FA12AC.  Very cool if a DA28AC and FA15Ac eventually are released, too!

I am familiar with these boxes in a few installations.  They were passive though, not the RHAON. Very nice pattern control, typical nice sounding renkus box.

Just learned these are install-only :(

Kristian,
Not sure where you found this... The DPDA offers AES or Analog. It also allows you to hit the first box with AES and then simply run a cat5 to your remaining boxes, and monitoring and AES is down the same cable. IIRC the DPDA and DPAN (plain analog with no monitoring) are the only drive packs offered anymore. The DPIP and DPCN have been discontinued I am told. Yeah, they are not a cheap box.

I got that impression reading various websites.  I'm glad I misunderstood!  Thanks!

FA28ac and FA15ac are indeed coming very shortly along with some powered subwoofer options.  We are currently working with the good folks at Powersoft to finalize a few new features in the DSP front end.

EAW JF-NT series?

Digital input, on-board DSP and amp, good sound quality.

Those sure look nice!  How are EAW in terms of parts support these days?

Much better than a couple of years back. There were a couple of issues in the past, but most of it is sorted out these days. In general, I've always received the parts I want when I need them, but I know that the dealer has taken a couple of hits because he had to airfreight them into Norway.

Tannoy VXP for the smaller systems and VQ for the bigger system, TC electronic own them and the newer systems have Lab Gruppen amps

Hello again Gordon.

I have been researching these products and they look very interesting.

Can you say a little bit more about your experience with them?

How powerful are the VQ speakers?  Could you compare them to something?  Do they "array well" when you "tight-pack" them? (Apparantly they have a conical dispersion).
Also, I'm not making much sense of the VQnet info:  Do you know what one has to do to get AES into them somehow?

Regarding the VXP:  How does the 15 sound compared to the 12?  Have you had a chance to compare the standard/HP/Q version?  Will these things stand up to real R&R use?  Is the amp module good?  Would you think they sound better with a separate amp?

The VUE H-class ticks so many boxes for me.  Just wish they had one truly miniature speaker in their range as well...

The Meyer stuff is really nice.  Might be a bit pricey for me, though.  Do you know if they offer an AES input option?

Funny you'd mention it:  Edgar and I had a lenghty email-discussion today:)

We agree about VUE looking like great speakers.

We don't agree about the major difference in VUE's US and Euro pricing stgructures...

Hoping to make it to a VUE demo next tuesday, but the way things are priced in Europe it looks like many other brands will offer better RIO :(
