Solution to clean LeMaitre Hazer
« on: March 29, 2013, 07:13:55 PM »

Just looking for an appropriate solution (alcohol?) to de-gum/gunk the output head of our hazer. It works great, just getting junked up, and didn't want to kill it with the wrong solution.

Thanks in advance,

Any other ideas? The ultratec website specifically says 'Do not use on Radiance Hazer'

you don't have one...

and if you do have a radiance hazer, then you have to open it up, clear out the gunk (approx ever 20lt of fluid) and then reseal it again!

if you have a radience, you can take it apart and clean it with soap and warm water...you'll need to use a drill bit to clean the nozzle

page six:
http://www.internallysound.com/Library/leMaitre/radiance_hazer_manual/manual.pdf

for other machines, use their maintenance flud

My apologies - I was under the impression that the radiance hazers were originally le maitre... or something along those lines. I just didn't want to mess it up.

radiance hazers WERE originally le maitre

you are correct...they were...but usually IMO if someone if referring to the le maitre i think of the Neutron Hazers (now discontinued)...not specifically the radiance...my bad...i know that they had their own specific fluid as well

Le Maitre currently makes 3 different hazers, and 6 different smoke machines....

They also make tons of other cool effects, some of which you can't buy without a license :)
