Pro Tools largest appeal to me is compatibility and professional exposure. When I edit for pro engineers, they give me Pro Tools sessions. When I operate for a pro engineer at a pro studio, its PT and they expect me to be a Pro Tools wiz and shortcut everything. As simple as that for me.

That's a huge reason to use ProTools.  I would be using it as well if that were the case for me.  Even though I don't often need the interoperability, I looked at moving to PT years ago just for that fact.  I couldn't get over the lack of offline bounce though -- a must have for mixing hours worth of material.  That's been added in PT11 I hear.
