ElectroVoice CPS2T 70 Volt Bridging
« on: January 24, 2013, 09:42:13 AM »

I guess it's not possible to bridge the outputs of a EV CPS2T. If bridged the way the manual specifies, it would be 50v vs. 70v. Does anyone out there know different?

There are two separate, transformer derived 25V/70V/100V outputs which can be aa single 50V/140V/200V output, respectively, if the amp is run as bridge mode.  However, in bridge mode you also have a direct output rated 1,200W into 8 Ohms that should be capable of direct driving a 70V system.
