Andrew Broughton:
Is there a version of this somewhere that still has the pictures?

Martyn ferrit Rowe:
Hey Guys,
here's a picture of the Earls Court setup from '73

Tim McCulloch:
One of those setups where we look, blink a couple of times, and go "gee, with what we know now, how did we ever make it sound good before?"

Thanks for the pic.

But we have a lot more tools-and better ones-available to us now.

I remember attending many of "those types" of concerts-and they sounded fine.  VERY rarely did I think about the sound.

From my memory-and my listening position (mostly on the floor in front of the stage-no assigned seating back then), most concerts were just fine-but not all-bad mixes etc for some bands.  Some things haven't changed at all.
