Wireless Handheld with Additional Locking Foam Windscreen

Title says it all, does such a thing exist? Locking windscreen is unfortunately a limiting requirement.

Nothing that I know of that would be similar to the ones for a wired sm87. The best fitting one in my opinion is the ones made by Shure for the sm86,87/beta87. They fit many mics desires those. I have used them on 58s sennheiser and AT WIRELESS. The fit is nice and tight but not "locking"

The Shure AW2S for the Sm57 and  A57AWS fpr the beta 57A are the only ones I am aware of.

Giving my experience with gospel shows the 'talent' will still rip them right off without asking or giving it  a moments thought.

Yup.  But they WILL replace them when they're done.......

You'd be amazed at how that darn mic will quit working if it gets ripped off  ;)

I'm ordering a locking Beta57 windscreen and I'm hoping it will work with the Line6 capsule. If it won't I read on a Shure forum that the replacement Beta57 grille will fit on a SM58 mic and I do know a 58 grille will fit on a Line6 so I'll put a Beta57 grille on the Line6 and then the locking windscreen.

Pictures to follow in a few days.

It looks like either a Shure UHF-R transmitter with a KS9 head, or a ULX-D with a KS9. I couldn't tell it there was a switch on the mic or not.

Expensive capsule. Is it worth the price? I'm assuming it to be the KSM9?

a) have tried putting a 58 grille on a Line6 transmitter and it sounds terrible; the proximity effect is too great.
b) the Sennheiser windscreens are oversized depth- but oh, so tight fitting..! also very thick
Expensive but fairly durable at the same time.
c) i think locking on a mic handed to someone sounds like a mistake from the start. Cheap and effective sounds better  8)
