Choice of Tom mics
« on: December 28, 2012, 11:42:45 PM »

Hi all

Currently looking at options for Tom mics.

I have been using Beta 98's on toms for a long time and are happy with the sound but they seem to be not the most rugged. The gooseneck after time starts to wear out and preamp can die.

What are people's thoughts of Sennheiser e904 compared to the Shure Beta 98?. e904 is slightly cheaper.

Cheers
