Very Small 70V Speakers?
« on: December 17, 2012, 02:25:39 PM »

Does anyone know if very small 70V speakers exist? I've looked everywhere and cant find anything.

Length and width don't matter but I need something with a maximum depth of about 2.5 inches (~64mm). I know speakers of this size exist for your standard 8 ohm speakers but I'm trying to keep the cost and size down by getting the transformer with it.

Thank you,

With managed expectations and a reasonably high high-pass crossover, I've strapped an outboard 70V transformer next to a speaker that will fit the space.  They're not that expensive.  Just be sure that the sensitivity jives with an other different speakers or provide this string of speakers with their own amp.
