how well do blank CD's & DVD's handle weather?
« on: December 23, 2012, 08:28:13 PM »

so... just got back from a trip and find 2 boxes on my front porch with CD's and DVD's in them -- 100 pack cake boxes.
the boxes are quite wet from the rain we have been having.
the cake boxes have condensation on the inside.
will this moisture be a problem for the discs?
I tend to think not, but want to be sure before I attack the delivery service for leaving packages at the front door when I have repeatedly asked for them to be left at the back door.  at the back door they would not have been wet!

The water may damage the packaging, but the disks themselves will be fine.
