connecting line level audio to screw terminals
« on: September 26, 2012, 07:48:36 PM »

   Guys,
I have a TOA 70 volt amp to run some residential speakers. I want to wire the line level audio signal in to the program terminals. Here's a silly question-I know the single conductor goes to hot but does the outside shielding go to common or ground input on the screw terminals?
thanks!

The inputs are balanced and you are using an unbalanced line. Connect the center conductor to the + and the shield to the - AND ground tieing the - and ground together.
