Does anybody know when the Soundcraft SI32 compact will be available?

Got to play around with one at the MIAC/PAL tradeshow in Toronto today, didn't ask about availability as it's not in the budget right now and didn't want the temptation but it does look pretty sweet doesn't it?

I just got done with my first show on the 24 channel version.  Sounds great, easy to use.  The band noticed a difference in their ears as well. I'm a dealer as well, and I was told next month the 32 channel will be available.  I hope it is,  I have a couple jobs it would be perfect for....

I have a pair + the Si-Stagebox on Order, I was told "April".

.......... how comfortable are you getting first generation?

Yep, I've been doing factory ordered decockups on the lesser sized Compact Si mixers.

So I take it from that, that there are a few teething problems?

I got to demo a 24 for a week, and was quite impressed for a console at that price point. It did have a glitch, but Soundcraft said it was a firmware issue and would be dealt with.

Any chance the glitch had something to do with the bus masters?

No, the first four faders would periodically drop to zero. The audio would not change but you couldn't adjust them till they decided to come back Usually 1 to 2 minutes later.
