Here is the description:

If you are an independent contractor working on live events then this is the place for you. We meet monthly for networking, knowledge, and support. By now you probably know that the best way to find more work and new clients is through industry peers.
This is not the AES or a recording hobbyist group. This is for professional sound engineers, sound designers, sound system designers, sound operators, and AV technicians working in the live event industry. No white papers. Always near beer, food, and transportation.
