Midi port creation for wireless 01V96 access?
« on: May 30, 2012, 12:20:39 PM »

Ok, it has been a long time since I did this and cannot remember how.

I replaced my router connected to my Silex USB router and replaced the laptop I used to use for runing Studio Manager.

I have verified wired operation to the 01V96.
The Silex virtual connection indicates a connection to the 01V96 over the wireless.

Now I need to create the midi ports to use the network so they show up in SM.

Help?

Hmm, I just thought of a couple of things...
Perhaps I need to reinstall the Yamaha midi driver?
Perhaps MidiYoke is still installed?

Off to check...

Fixed.

I needed to reinstall the Midi Driver from Yamaha.

Neat thing is that when I walk out of range (easy to do in the basement with much steel and concrete), it disconnects as expected but when I get closer it reconnects and picks up where it should be.
