I have opinions on them on two fronts:

1. Sound Quality: The dynamic mics are decent though not great. The condensers (or at least the overheads) are atrocious.

2. Political: This is the kind of Chinese crap that we must stop purchasing for the sake of our economies and the environment. Buy less. Buy better. Please.

When I found my current drummer he had a full compliment of Superlux drum mics.  They all sucked.  I have since replaced them all, one at a time, with better mics.

I have the cheap Equation (CAD) drum mics and although I know they would not hold up under harsh use I did a personal shoot out with Audix D2/4'a  and Senn 604's and I use them in the studio to this day.

I used a lectern gooseneck mic and I think it failed within 6 months of weekly use. Sounded like a creaking door when adjusted. It was special.

Little early for broad strokes like that.  I'll dissent.  I got a PRA628 (in the style of a Senny E609) and after several tests, gigs, and conferring with other sound guys in my employ I ordered 3 more.   I plan on getting a couple more still.  I own a sennheiser E906 and while I would favor it, I feel the PRA628 gets close enough for <1/2 the price and all bands i work with have been satisfied with the results as well.

One mans hammer is another mans crescent wrench. While I don't use Superlux my Avlex boundary mic (from the sister company) is very usable and useful.
