"WHY can't I just drop my hand (that is holding the mic) down when I am not singing---and point the mic directly into the monitor?"

The sound guy should be able to "fix" that-right?  SURE_Now let me just turn it down-but DON'T complain you can't hear anymore.

This is a 2 way street ya know!
