Yes, but Carlo Sound's horn rig would have killed those little WEM columns on Pink Floyd's cover ;^).

As long as they were properly terminated.  I had a number of them come into my shop that "didn't work right".  When unterminated-the response would do some really "weird" things when you made adjustments.

Terminate it and it was fine.

Personally I'm glad we live in a voltage transfer world now-instead of a power transfer world.  It makes things much easier to deal with.

The things "the kids" had no idea about.  Just image all the questions that would be on the forums if we had to transfer "power" from device to device.

Of course it also helped to keep certain people out of pro audio.
