Unfortunately I don't think new STX do anything for me based on the information provided so far. They don't appear to be the "game changer" that SRX is/was.

Obviously how they sound in the real world will have the final say, but they'd want to be some amazing sounding boxes.

The 835's are definitely a "game changer" for me .. i will be buying some !! :)

I will be attending a Harmon demo day next week. Paperwork says Vi/Si consoles, Crown 4x3500HD's, STX, VTX and PRX400's.

The 835's mid-high horn is not a new design.  It was used in the SRX 700 series, and in something before that.

looks alot like the dance2 box.. god i hated that box.. got in a fight with jbl over how bad the low end response of TWO of their GOOD 15" drivers were in that thing...
