Hi all! I sure have learned a WHOLE lot reading this forum about DIY speakers I never knew. I would like to try and build a Lab Sub and I was wondering if anyone has made a step-by-step guide or a easier instruction build for new wooddworkers and builders? I fully plan to take my time and get it "right". Also, how would these sub's work for live music compared to say 2x18's?

There are detailed drawings and materials lists here in this forum. Silas Pradetto had posted many photos during the building process, and atleast one poster had posted the info for processor settings . This info is here or in the Archives or Library.
The Labs subs can go really Low and provide an incredible amount of output. Comparing the labs to any other sub box would dictate knowing what box you're referring to. But, there have been numerous comparisons of these Labs against other subs....that info is also here or in the archives or LIbrary.
Good Luck on your build. Don't rush the job, make your cuts nice & neat. and follow all of the suggestions in the plans. You'll be pleased.
